We are thrilled and excited to offer you massage therapy as well as sauna & steam for some much needed stress relief and relaxation.
Your health & safety is important to us therefore we’d like you to be informed as to what has changed and what you can expect. We also know you have questions as we offer a unique experience. Below are some FAQ, guidelines & policies to help set you up for success on your first visit or return visit to our spa.
We continue to evolve and adapt.
Our spa has implemented changes based on the findings and learnings from going through a global pandemic. We’ve adapted our experience to better suit the health and wellbeing of our staff and our guests. We strive to be as touchless as possible while being environmentally conscious. We ask that you respect our policies and requirements so that we can operate safely.
Below are some FAQ’s, procedures and guidelines you can expect.
We recommend booking in advance. We do allow drop-ins for sauna & steam sessions however, if we are at capacity you will be waitlisted or offered our next available time slot.
The best way to make a reservation is through our website. Our virtual chat bot “Guru” is also available through our website for any questions and can assist with booking a reservation for you.
Please note our Relaxation Specialists are busy checking guests in, touring guests through the spa and pouring up cold kombucha at our Remedy bar. This means they can’t always get to the phone. If you leave a voicemail we will get back to you as soon as we can.
We work on a request system. This means that you are requesting an appointment on a particular date and time. However, it is not confirmed until our staff can review it. We do require a credit card (due to our cancellation policy) prior to confirming an appointment at the spa.
The first appointment to submit all the requirements will be confirmed. We do not hold appointment times. Please make sure you submit your c/c information when creating a profile online to make sure we can approve your request. We may need to adjust an appointment time based on the requests coming in and the confirmed appointments already on the schedule.
If requesting appointments for multiple people (ie: 2 massages or 2 sauna sessions) make sure to book multiple appointments (requests) if expecting to have more than 1 guest enjoy at the same time.
Our facility is large and shared. Appointments are reserved individually with access to the spa facility. You can purchase as many sessions as you like. However, when booking (requesting) appointments this is based on availability and capacity. If our system won’t let you book 2 appointments at the same time this is because there are not 2 appointments available. You can request multiple appointments however, we can only approve appointments up until we hit our capacity. If we are at capacity and you’ve only booked 1 appointment (we’ve only confirmed 1), the 2nd guest will be turned away.
We do offer couples massages but these are done in individual rooms. All the sauna & steam time is done together. You’ll re-join up at the bar for your complimentary flight of kombucha! We can accommodate up to 3 massages at a time.

Please note, in an attempt to create the most ideal relaxation environment we do not allow minors in the facility. This non-negotiable 18+ restriction also applies to massage.
We have introduced virtual check-in. You are welcome to text our virtual chat bot “Guru” upon arrival 825-251-2386 to let us know when you have arrived.
Please wait outside until your appointment arrival time. We are a boutique spa which means we are limited for space at reception. Sauna & Steam guests can check-in 5min prior to their appointment time.
Massage guests can check-in 1hour ahead of their massage start time to utilize our sauna & steam room. Sauna & Steam time is split 1 hour before and 1 hour after your massage start time. This way your muscles are warmed up and you’ve started to release some tension when our registered massage therapists get to work!
Please note Mon – Wed we open at 4pm therefore all the sauna & steam time will be used after your massage treatment.
All our waivers are now digital. We ask that you fill them out prior to arrival.
If for some reason you did not get your waiver it is most likely you’ve turned off your email preferences when setting up your profile. Please make sure these are on in order to receive this prior to your appointment.
Hand Sanitizer stations & areas to wash your hands are available throughout.
Individual washroom and shower facilities are provided. We do not have full sized change rooms.
We do offer lockers but not locks. If you forget we do have occupied tags for a rental fee available at reception. We suggest you bring your own lock if you would like to lock up your items.
We do locker sweeps throughout the day. This includes cleaning and sanitizing the insides & outsides of the lockers to keep them clean. If you see us cleaning during your visit we are just trying to keep everyone healthy and safe.
Our facilities are unisex which means bathing suits are required at all times.
You can drizzle water on the sauna rocks. Please do not pour water onto the rocks as you may damage the sauna stoves. Just a little drizzle of water will do!
We provide a maximum of two towels per person. Towels are complimentary for our massage guests as well as our sauna & steam guests. If you require additional towels please bring your own.
A towel is required under your bum at all times in our saunas. This is to reduce the amount of perspiration on our Cedarwood and to keep our facility clean.
Towels are not required in the steam room. Please leave your towel outside on our hooks provided before heading in for a steam.
Our RMT’s are all registered. We don’t direct bill however, we will provide you with a receipt with their full name, association and RMT #.
Aromatherapy is complimentary with every massage. Choose from our seasonal or classic options. Aromatherapy is pre-measured and set up in each treatment room. Guests now select this with their therapist prior to treatment.
We have outsourced our massage linens to sustain a high quality of cleanliness and consistency.
Our weighted blankets are optional by request.
The Remedy bar is open. You can enjoy a cold beverage at the bar or take with you to enjoy in one of our saunas to replenish while you sweat it out.
We are offering growler refills. We are going above and beyond to ensure that your growler fills are safe and sanitary for you. We do require time in order to sanitize properly & appreciate your patience while you wait for your refill. All outside growlers brought into our spa are required to be sanitized. No exceptions.
The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces has been increased.
If you see us cleaning during your visit we are just trying to keep everyone healthy and safe.
Payments are done as touchless as possible.
We do require a credit card on file in order to make a reservation at our spa. This is due to our cancellation policy and assists with contactless payment.
Scheduling an appointment is the reservation of time put aside specifically for you. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or rebook any appointments at the spa. Once in the 24 hour window there is a 50% late cancellation fee. If for some reason you do not show for your appointment there is a 100% no Show fee which is the full price of the appointment booked.
If you arrive 15 min or more after your scheduled appointment time it may be given to a walk-in guest. Appointments are not held past 15 min and will be considered a no-show.
We appreciate your business and ask, in an effort to provided everyone with the best Sauna & Steam experience, we ask that you respect the time of your reservation.
We have a no refund policy on all purchases including pre-paid services, gift cards & products. All purchases are considered final sale.
Our Sauna & Steam rooms are large, shared and unisex. They were built to accomodate 10-12 guests each.
We are doing a gradual reopen. We have slowly been increasing our capacity as we feel comfortable and confident.

We are committed to following all guidelines and protocols set out by the Alberta Government. If we need to re-introduce additional safety or health measures again we will do so.
We respect all recommendations and regulations set out by AHS, OHS, Public Health guidelines and the Massage Associations of Alberta.
