Breathwork Coaches

Your guides to reset, release and reconnect

Breathwork at Cedar & Steam is more than a class — it’s a guided experience to help you reset, release, and reconnect. Our certified Breathwork Coaches bring unique expertise and energy to each session, creating a safe and supportive environment for your practice.

Just like with massage, no two sessions are alike. Some classes are energizing and powerful, others restorative and grounding. Certain sessions may also include cold plunge, adding another dimension to the experience. Whether you’re here to reduce stress, process emotions, or simply deepen your connection with yourself, our coaches are here to guide you.

We recommend reading each coach’s bio to find the right fit for your energy and intention. Every session is done in a group setting, led by a coach who will facilitate, hold space, and empower you through the process. Drop-ins are always welcome — just bring an open mind, your breath, and a willingness to explore.

Michelle S., RMT (she/her)

I specialize in helping clients relieve pain, restore mobility, and understand their bodies more clearly. I enjoy treating everything from everyday tension and work-related strain to more complex musculoskeletal patterns. My education in biological sciences, combined with advanced training in manual therapy and rehabilitation tools, allows me to blend clinical precision with a supportive approach. I chose this profession because I value helping people move, function, and live with greater comfort and confidence.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors whether it’s hiking, climbing, or exploring new trails. I’m also passionate about strength training and staying active in the gym. Movement has always been a big part of my life, and it inspires the way I approach health and wellness both personally and professionally

Area of Strength: My strength lies in identifying movement patterns and tension habits that contribute to pain, then creating treatment plans that improve function, mobility, and overall comfort. I prioritize helping clients feel stronger and more capable in their everyday lives.
Favourite Type of Massage to Perform: Cupping
Goals: In the next 3–5 years, I aim to pursue additional training in clinical rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques that complement my current approach. My long-term focus is to refine a practice that blends precise assessment, effective treatment, and ongoing education for clients.
